“OK, I get it. What the hell’s with the shirt?”

Well, it’s a little sign of appreciation from an ever grateful team. The man on the front is someone you probably recognized as Mr. Marcus Moore. There’s a few reasons for that…

1) He’s what’s been keeping this team rolling with great guidance, expertise, service and parts. You’ve just joined his efforts.

2) He’s a staple in the urban cycling community. He’d be a great fixture in any city but since he proudly operates his business here, he’s long been synonymous with pretty much everything we hold dear. If you’ve never seen his shop or had an idea of what I’m talking about you should spin by sometime. Really. If you didn’t it would be kind of like living in Chicago and thinking Subway was the only good place to get a sandwich.

3) It’s a pretty badass drawing. Isn’t it?

OK, so now you’ve helped the bust fund and you got an obnoxious lesson in Chicago cycling’s icono-culture. I’m not through with you. For those of you that are game, we’d like to get some photos together of you putting your new top to use. It could be anything, share a photo of you watching the Blackhawks annihilate every team on their way to the Cup Finals, and/or you chilling at your cycling camp in the Pyrenees, fixing up care packages in San Diego, handing up bacon attached to a dollar bill attached to a live baby inside of a car tire at a CX race, maybe someone snapped a shot of you throwing up all over yourself at the bathroom of Gold Star, it’s all in good fun!

Maybe we’ll get enough to make a decent collage or maybe I’ll just get enough to blackmail a few of you. We’ll see how it plays out.
