Things began when I moved to Chicago, sold my car and decided the CTA wasn’t worth waiting for anymore. I got a bike and started riding it and I guess I just never stopped since, that was two years ago.
Nine times out of ten I ride to all my destinations as fast as I can, I’m not sure why, it seems that riding that way just feels right. So I started doing some alleycats last summer, biked through two winters seriously every day, came out for the Tour da Chicago and met Molly and Adam who asked me if I was interested in joining a team. Very flattered, I had to turn them down, “being broke as the ten comandments,” but the Cuttin’ Crew was able to turn the heads of some impressive sponsors making it possibe for broke me to race. I’m very excited, I’m all in, let’s see what happens…
