Well, it’s been on everyone’s mind lately so we might as well come on out with it…
Brean has officially joined the Chicago Cuttin’ Crew. No two ways about it. Your boy Bre is going to add experience, guidance, talent, tenacity, killer race resume, punctuality, uh, sarcasm, um, red hair, and, oh yeah, he does have his mature demeanor to contribute to the team.
We’re damn proud and very glad to have him.

1. Get ready for 3pm “dinner” meetings at OCB. And I am sure Brean’s messenger bag will have ziploc bags (re-used, of course) for “leftover” free rolls and butter, and the occasional piece of silverware that he claims he has no idea how it got in his bag.
2. Late race starts because he was “watching Matlock” (just nickname him Abe Simpson now and be done with it).
3. He will accidentally present his AARP card to race officials instead of his USAC licenses, and then proceed to argue that THEY have a vision problem.
4. He will meet with everyone on the team about “good” life insurance policies.
5. His teeth are removable
6. The batteries for his hearing aids are the same as the ones in his bike computer.
7. He will tell you that at his age, chamois butter can be used everyday, no matter if you are riding or not.
8. You guys are lucky - because Brean is good people.
